EFI Matrimonial Write-up

EFI was founded in 1951 as a national alliance of evangelical Christians and is a central network of evangelicals in India. We exist to empower and mobilize the local churches, church related institutions and individual Christians for effective witness for Christ. EFI links Indian Christians with a world wide Christian community.

We have continued to grow in the recent years. Some of our newer areas of work now include advocacy (Christian Legal Association-CLA) and the Evangelical Financial Accountability Council (EFAC). Find out how these areas can assist you in your endeavor to serve Christ. We would covet your prayers as we grow and minister in the Church as the body of Christ.

EFI’s matrimonial service provides an opportunity for you to meet and get to know other Christians and led by the Holy Spirit, find your life partner and be committed as husband and wife. Understanding the need of today’s believers of finding Christian partners, this service provides an avenue for meeting this need.

Psalm 127:1 says that, “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it.” Under God’s guidance and leading, we hope that countless Christians will find each other and be able to establish godly families through the use of this service. Since we know that marriage is blessed by God and is in his plan, we are confident that this site will prove beneficial to our members.

Marriage is an incredible gift from God and the partnership it offers can be enriching for the couple and for the world at large. Marriage is also a reflection of the love God had for his own bride- the Church. The two people who have entered the marriage commitment learn to rely on God to satisfy their individual and family needs. A Christian marriage is made up of three people- the bride, groom and God- and this chord of three strands cannot be easily broken.
