Welcome to the Evangelical Fellowship of India ("EFI"). Founded in 1951 as a national alliance of evangelical Christians, EFI serves as a central network of evangelicals in India. Over the years, EFI has crossed cultural and geographical boundaries and has linked Indian Christians with a world wide Christian community.
 
EFI has launched Together Forever, an exclusive matrimonial service ("Service")that allows you to meet and know other Christians and led by the Holy Spirit, find your life partner and be committed as husband and wife. In order to use the Together Forever ("Site"), you must register as a member of the Site ("Member") and agree to be bound by the Terms of Use (“Agreement”) and follow the instructions in the Registration process. This Agreement sets out the legally binding terms for your membership. This Agreement may be modified by EFI from time to time, effective upon notice to you as a Member. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using this Service. Using this Site indicates that you accept these terms without modification regardless of whether or not you choose to register with us as a member and constitutes you being a party to this Agreement. Non acceptance of terms and conditions mentioned hereinafter would act as a bar to access member pages.
 
Once you have completed your online registration procedure, your profile will be verified by EFI prior to being activated.

 You must be eighteen or over to register as a member of the Site or use the Site. Membership of the Service is invalid where it has been prohibited. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into this Agreement and to abide by all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

The Service enables you to contact other members. EFI is not a marriage brokering service and is not obligated to successfully broker any other members for you.

This Agreement will remain in full force and effect while you use the Site and/or as long as you remain a Member of the Site. You may terminate your membership at any time, for any reason by writing to EFI at togetherforever@efionline.org. EFI reserves the right to terminate your access to the Site because of any infringement / breach of the terms herein.

The Site is for the personal use of individual members only and may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavors, including providing links to other websites. EFI reserves the right to cancel the registration of and obliterate any non-individual membership and take appropriate legal action against such registrants, civil or criminal.

You will not:-
Engage in any unsolicited advertising, solicitation, buying / selling of any products or services through the Site.
• Transmit any chain letters or junk email
• Use any information obtained from the Site in order to harass, abuse or harm another person or in order to contact such person for any ulterior motive.

The Site reserves its right to monitor the conduct of Members and in its sole discretion stop / cancel and / or initiate action against such registration in case there is any violation of rules as enumerated herein.

Except for the information which is posted by the Member, EFI owns and retains the
proprietary rights in the Site and the Service. The Site contains the copyrighted material,
trademarks, patents and other intellectual property and proprietary information of EFI whether registered or not. Except for that information which is in the public domain or for which you have been given written permission, you may not copy, modify, publish, transmit, distribute, perform, reproduce, license, create derivative works from, transfer display, or sell or re-sell any such intellectual property or proprietary information.

You understand and agree that EFI may delete any content, messages, photos or profiles
(collectively, "Content") that in the sole judgment of EFI, violate the Terms of Use or which might be offensive, illegal or that might violate the rights, harm or threaten the safety of EFI and/or its Members.

The information that you supply to EFI and post on the Site must be accurate and conform to reality. You are solely responsible for the Content that you publish or display (hereinafter, "Post") on the Site or transmit to other Site Members. You represent and warrant that at any time of posting the Content is (a) accurate, (b) not in breach of this Agreement, and (c) not harmful to any person in any way.

EFI reserves the right to verify the authenticity of Content posted on the site. In exercising this right, EFI may ask you to provide any documentary or other form of evidence supporting the Content you post on the site. If you fail to produce such evidence, EFI may, in its sole discretion, terminate your Membership.

By posting Content to any public area of the Site, you automatically grant and you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant, to the site and its Members, an irreversible, continuous, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, copy, perform, display and distribute such information and content and to prepare derivative works of or incorporate into other works, such information and content and to grant and authorize sublicenses of the foregoing.

The following is a partial list of the kind of Content that is illegal or prohibited on the Site. EFI reserves the right to amend this list at any time and to investigate and take appropriate legal action in its sole discretion against anyone who violates this provision, including without limitation, removing the offending communication from the Site and terminating the Membership of such violators.

It includes Content that:
• is patently offensive to the online community, such as Content that promotes racism, bigotry, hatred or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual; harasses or advocates harassment of another person;
• involves the transmission of "junk mail", "chain letters," or unsolicited mass mailing or
"spamming";
• constitutes a profile or photographs of any third person used without their permission.
• promotes information that you know is false, misleading or promotes illegal activities or
conduct that is abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory or libelous;
• promotes an illegal or unauthorized copy of another person's copyrighted work, such as
providing pirated computer programs or links to them, providing information to circumvent manufacture-installed copy-protect devices or providing pirated music or links to pirated music files;
• contains restricted or password only access pages or hidden pages or images (those not linked to or from another accessible page);
• displays pornographic or sexually explicit material of any kind;
• provides material that exploits people under the age of 18 in a sexual or violent manner or solicits personal information from anyone under 18;
• provides instructional information about illegal activities such as making or buying illegal weapons, violating someone's privacy or providing or creating computer viruses;
• solicits passwords or personal identifying information for commercial or unlawful purposes from other users; and
• engages in commercial activities and/or sales without our prior written consent such as
contests, sweepstakes, barter, advertising and pyramid schemes.

You must use the Service in a manner consistent with any and all applicable local, state and union laws and regulations.

EFI reserves the right to investigate and terminate your membership if you have misused the Service, or behaved in a way which could be regarded as inappropriate or whose conduct is unlawful or illegal. The following is a partial list of the type of actions that you may not engage in with respect to the Service:
• You will not impersonate any person or entity;
• You will not "stalk" or otherwise harass any person;
• You will not express or imply that any statements you make are endorsed by EFI without our specific prior written consent;
• You will not use any robot, spider, site search/retrieval application, or other manual or
automatic device or process to retrieve, index, "data mine", or in any way reproduce or
circumvent the navigational structure or presentation of the Service or its contents;
• You will not post, distribute or reproduce in any way any copyrighted material, trademarks, or other intellectual property or proprietary information without obtaining the prior consent of the owner of such proprietary rights;
• You will not remove any copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights notices contained in the Service;
• You will not "frame" or "mirror" any part of the Service or the Site, without EFI’s prior written authorization. You also shall not use meta tags or code or other devices containing any reference to EFI or the Service or the Site in order to direct any person to any other web site for any purpose;
• You will not transmit or post any material which constitutes or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise be contrary to the law of or infringe the rights of any third party in India or any other country in the world;
• Except and only to the extent permitted under applicable law, you will not modify, adapt, sublicense, translate, sell, reverse engineer, decipher, decompile or otherwise disassemble any portion of the Service or the Site or any software used on or for the Service or cause others to do so.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the username and password that you designate during the registration process with the Service, and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your username and password. You agree to (a) immediately notify EFI of any unauthorized use of your username or password or any other breach of security, and
(b) ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session. EFI will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this provision. You should use particular caution when accessing your account from a public or shared computer so that others are not able to view or record your password or other personal information.

You may not post, distribute or reproduce in any way any copyrighted material, trademarks or other proprietary information without obtaining the prior written consent of the owner of such proprietary rights. Without limiting the foregoing, if you believe that your work has been copied and posted on the Service, which infringes your copyright, you may provide EFI with the following information at togetherforever@efionline.org:
• an electronic or physical signature of person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest;
• a description of the copyrighted work that is allegedly infringing;
• a description / location of the infringing material on the Site
• your address, telephone number and email address;
• a brief written submission that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
• a statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your Notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

Member Disputes

As EFI is acting only as a facilitator and providing you a platform in the Site, you are solely responsible for your interactions with other Site Members. EFI reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor disputes between you and other Members.

EFI is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate Content posted on the Site or in
connection with its Service, whether caused by Users, Members or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized neither in the Service, nor for the conduct of any User and/or Member of the Service whether online or offline.

EFI assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alteration of, User and/or Member communications.

While EFI endeavours to ensure that this Site is normally available 24 hours a day, EFI does not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error free. Access to this Site may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond our control. EFI is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line-systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to Users and/or Members or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in connection with the Site and/or in connection with the Service.

Under no circumstances will EFI be responsible for any loss or damage resulting from anyone's use of the Site or the Service and/or any Content posted on the Site or transmitted to Service

Members. The exchange of matrimonial profile(s) through or by email or otherwise should not in any way be construed as any matrimonial offer and/or recommendation from/by EFI. EFI shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to any individual arising out of or subsequent to, matrimonial relations established pursuant to the use of the Site. The Site and the Service are provided "AS-IS" and EFI expressly disclaims any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. EFI cannot guarantee and does not promise any specific results from use of the Site and/or the Service.

Except in jurisdictions where such provisions are restricted, in no event will EFI be liable to you or any third person for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special or punitive damages, including also lost profits arising from your use of the Site or the Service, even if EFI has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, EFI bears no liability to you for any cause whatsoever, regardless of the form of the action.

EFI may alter or amend our terms and conditions upon giving reasonable notice in advance of such amendment taking effect. If upon receiving any notice, if you do not wish to continue with the Service, you may terminate the contract upon giving EFI notice and such notice is to take effect upon the earlier of our receipt of your notice or the date upon which the amended terms and conditions would otherwise have taken effect. You will be deemed to have accepted any alteration and/or amendment if you continue to use the Service after the relevant period of notice has expired.

If there is any dispute about or involving the Site and/or the Service, by using the Site, you agree that the dispute will be governed by Indian laws and the jurisdiction shall be solely at the Courts at New Delhi, India.

You agree to indemnify and hold EFI, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents and other partners and employees, harmless from any loss, liability, claim or demand, including reasonable attorney's fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Service in violation of this Agreement and/or arising from a breach of these Terms of Use and/or any breach of your representations and warranties set forth above.

By becoming a Member of the Service, you agree to receive certain specific emails from EFI. This Agreement, accepted upon use of the Site and further affirmed by becoming a Member of the Service, contains the entire agreement between you and EFI regarding the use of the Site and/or the Service. Irrespective of if any provision of this Agreement being held invalid, the remainder of this Agreement shall continue to be binding in full force and effect.
